Andy, you are truly a prince among programmers.  This is exactly
what I'm looking for. It's MORE than I was looking for. My stone 
chisels can remain in their mammoth skin pouch.  I was going to 
carve a lumpy stone wheel.

You have pointed me to the guy down the trail who has iron rimmed 
spoked wheels better than anything I would have made on my own.

(In passing, a wooden spoked wheel is a non-trivial piece of 
technology.  Wheelwight was a respected trade.  I have no idea
how long it took to learn how to make a good wheel, but I bet it 
was longer than it takes now for a young man to become a carpenter)
