А friend of mine Krassimir Berov wrote syntax highlighting for  Kate ( Linux 
KDE editor ). It is available at his sf.net  svn
http://bcc.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/bcc/trunk/misc/
I use it with KDevelop ( integrates Kate ) and works fine for me.
Feel free to use it if you like it.
