[Templates] How do I ignore .svn directories?

I've just moved a web site built with TT over to a Subversion source
code repository, and I noticed that it's now looking at all the files
in the .svn directories. With the particular "accept" statements I
have and the naming conventions in the .svn directory, my first
thought of adding ".svn" to the other two in the standard-example
ignore statement has kept me from actually processing any incorrect
files -- but I notice that things like the README.txt in there *are*
being considered; they're just not being accepted, because of my
particular accept statements (I don't need to process any .txt files
for this site).

It appears that the ignore config statement operates only on *file*
names, not on the whole path, and not on directory names. The
documentation isn't actually clear about that, but experiment seems to
confirm it.

Is there some way to keep it from looking inside my .svn files at all?
That would be considerably safer in general.
